Care of the skin requires that you keep it clean and protect it from the
challenges of the environment. You have to remove dirt and the
airborne pollutants as you clean it without stripping the skin of its natural
protective oils and without causing chemical changes that make dirt bond
to it even more strongly. You must protect it from the aging effect of
ultraviolet radiation and allow it to retain its moisture barrier against the
drying effects of the outdoors while you nourish it as much as possible.
Most importantly, you have to avoid anything likely to irritate or cause
allergy.
The Basic Method
Effective skin care is as simple as 1-2-3. First you CLEANSE the skin,
secondly you TONE the skin and CLARIFY problem areas. Thirdly you
MOISTURIZE and PROTECT it. The regimen is carried out twice daily -
in the morning and before retiring.

The Rocin Skin Care products are formulated with Vitamins A, D, E, and
B5 (Panthenol) in a highly-purified soluble collagen imported from Basel,
Switzerland The CLEANSER is a special collagen-based, pH-balanced
wash which does not have detergent in its base nor leave a detergent
residue. It initiates the regimen by removing dirt and pollutants from the
skin without making it"sticky" as do ordinary bar soaps. Step two involves
diminishing the pores with a mild astringent, the TONER which "plumps
up" the cells and minimizes fine wrinkles or deeper cleansing in problem
areas with the CLARIFIER. Those with oilier and younger skins may prefer
regular use of the CLARIFIER. Men generally like the tingly effect of the
CLARIFIER used as an aftershave. Moisturizing requires use of the night
time MOISTURIZER which is formulated for each of the different skin types
- DRY, REGULAR, and HYPERSENSITIVE. There is an UNDERMAKEUP
MOISTURIZER for day time use and an oil-free EYELID MOISTURIZER
for the delicate eyelid skin reflective of its special needs. Also specially
formulated are COLLAGEN BODY AND HAND MOISTURIZER, a
MOISTURIZING SUNSCREEN to protect against the sunlight's UV rays, a
deep cleansing, wash-off KAOLIN FACE MASK which lessens fine
wrinkles, and a COLLAGEN FADE CREAM designed to remove the brown
spots that accompany age.
